Romarsh was founded in 1969, and is now one of the World's leading companies in the design and manufacture of wound power components. As well as offering transformers and inductors from 50VA up to 1000kVA range, the company has particular expertise in the design and manufacture of components for the UPS, traction and machine tool, motor drives, medical, power generation and other industrial equipment markets. Operating from 4000m² premises in Calne, Romarsh supplies 60% of its products directly and indirectly to overseas customers in Europe, the USA, Canada, Japan and the Far East. With a turnover of around £10m and some 140 employees, the company is able to offer quality bespoke components anywhere in the World. Romarsh also designs and manufactures specialist power supplies for the Industrial and defence markets.
